About the Digital Media Literacy Course:
In today’s interconnected digital landscape, equipping high school students with advanced critical thinking and inquiry skills is essential. This course prepares students with the knowledge and competencies needed to succeed at LFA and beyond.
By comprehensively exploring digital media literacy, students will critically evaluate information, engage ethically with emerging technologies, and develop creative problem-solving skills. Topics include AI ethics, 3D printing, copyright principles, foundational research, and digital literacy. Practical experience with platforms like Google Workspace, Notability, and Canvas enhances productivity and organization.
By the end of the course, students will be equipped to navigate the evolving digital world with confidence, assess information critically, and engage with technology responsibly in academic and real-world contexts.
